Owasp Zed Attack Proxy : Zap, is the highlight project of the OWASP organisation. This vulnerability scanner has been developped to match with your professional context, pentesters or developpers, Zap will assists you to automate you scans and will adapt to the specific features of your application. During this workshop, I will do a realistic demonstration of ZAP. The goal is to show its basic purpose, then try the advanced features and finaly try some scripting.


Make you own Arduino with DTRE

Make Your Own Arduino is a workshop in which the volunteers will be able to learn how to build a compatible Arduino-car using an electronic kit parts. Once this is done, they’ll can try to program the card to get access to a little demonstration.


L’horloge à LED’s with DTRE

Using a basic Trinket Pro Adafruit kit, a tiny breadboard, 12 LEDs and a RTC module, volunteers will learn the basic programmation on this Arduino compatible card then hack into the clock printing using the RGB LEDs.


Hack The Tank with DTRE

During this workshop, the DTRE challenges you to hack his tank and gain it’s control, using a bluetooth smartphone application.


Hack The ChiFouMi with DTRE

Using an Arduino card and logical doors, the goal here is to do a ChiFouMi between a player and an AI then hack the system to help one or the other player.


Practical Android Malware Analysis with PaulSec

This hands-on workshop will give you the basics to reverse Android malwares that you might spot in the wild. We'll start by a quick introduction about the DEX format, Dalvik and Smali assembly. Afterwards, we will focus on Static (dex2jar, baksmali, androguard, jd-gui/jadx, ..) and Dynamic (DroidBox, Cydia Substrate) analysis. The next step will be to know where to retrieve fresh samples to work on, but also getting involved in such community . To conclude, we prepared a small Capture-The-Flag with specially crafted APKs to play with and gain access to the C2C panel. Get ready!

Analyzing Malicious Office Documents with Didier STEVENS

In this workshop (2 hours), I explain how to use the tools (oledump, emldump, YARA rules, …) I developed to analyze (malicious) Microsoft Office documents. have around 30 exercises that explain step by step how to analyze malicious office documents with my Python tools. Microsoft Office is not required for the analysis.


Pimp My Badge with virtualabs

This year, Virtualabs will do a workshop about the design of the electronic badge : its functionnalities, the developpement tools (Open Source), and the design of the firmware from the last year challenge. You can learn how to develop or get some knowledge with Arduino, how to control a buzzer, a RGB LED, capacitive buttons, an accelerometer and have fun with the datas stored in Flash. In a nutshell, everything you need to modify your electronic badge and do something fun with it (teensy, kinda-random password generator, etc ...).
